I've got a 2020 kia x ceed. I've just changed the battery in the key fob but it doesn't work. Does anyone have any idea how to re-pair it with the car? I cannot find anything that works online.
It said the battery was low and the other fob works atm.

I take it you've tried sitting in the car, with all doors closed, key in ignition and turn the ignition on/off repeatedly until doors lock and key is in the "on" position, then press the unlock button on the remote. If doors open, turn key off and that should be it.
(Had to Google to double check but pretty sure this is how we done the Sister-in-laws Sportage)

(Had to Google to double check but pretty sure this is how we done the Sister-in-laws Sportage)It doesn't have a key barrel. You can open the door using a key, but you have to hold the fob against the start button to start the car. It doesn't detect the key for locking/unlocking or starting the car "keyless".
I've tried everything I can think off and I still can't figure it out. I'll call kia tomorrow if I can't get it working.

Presumably it's still under warranty?

Presumably it's still under warranty?Yeah, but it just the battery in the key fob. I changed the battery like for like and I suspect its a programming issue. I'll call them tomorrow and see what they say.
