He was an excellent player. He would have been tremendous in a Stubbs/Lennon team.

Brilliant player. I was fortunate enough to meet him a couple of times and Liam was an absolute gent. Gone far too soon.

I think he would have definitely been a Stubbs type player as he was one of them midfielder's who was a class act . Remember being so sad watching the news when he had passed away . The news here referred to him as a ex Celtic , man United and Sunderland player though he played more games for Hibs than any other club which was nice that we had him for so many games and can remember him by .

I always enjoyed watching Liam Miller play, and like Wee Russell above, I wasn't aware that he had more appearances for Hibs than any other club.

John Hughes done well to get a player of Liam Miller's calibre in. I was really excited about the team that John Hughes was building around Liam Miller and I had very high hopes for John Hughes, Liam Miller, and Hibernian. At one point it seemed we might put in a decent title challenge. But it all fell apart and was quite a sad ending. Liam Miller eventually lost his form. Even sadder was hearing the tragic news that one of my favourites from the 2009/10 season had passed away at such a young age.

Liam was a wonderful footballer. On his day unplayable can remember a game through at Motherwell and he was brilliant great on the ball for such a relatively small guy. Very sad he died so young.

Sent a donation to the Liam Miller Memorial Fund and they very kindly sent me back a Match Day Programme for the sold out Celtic/Eire Select v Manchester United Select match in aid of his widow and children
In 40 odd pages there was one page on Hibernian- the club where he had played the most games-where Graham Spiers recalled a 1-1 game versus Rangers at Ibrox where Liam Miller effortlessly bossed the midfield despite their expensive super stars

I read a article awhile back ( don't know if it was true or not) that it was actually Liam Miller that contacted John Hughes about him being available at the time it said he was a free agent and yogi jumped at the chance to sign a player of his quality

we were excellent in the first half of that 09-10 season. Think we were unbeaten from mid September to just after Christmas? And Liam was a big part of that.
second half of the season Hibs did what Hibs do but it was one of the more enjoyable seasons before we started our spiral towards relegation
