Great news. BBC Sportsound we’re making out it would be “devastating news”. They will be gutted.

Dare I say… that the club have done well here? From Nisbet himself to Lee Johnson to the medical staff?

If you compare it to that debacle with Ryan Porteous’ knee a few years back?

His post on Instagram about his hospital visit was really quite touching.

A lot has been said about him in the last few weeks but I'm happy to give him the benefit of the doubt and believe he actually does really want to be here for the moment.

When he gets his big move, he'll have earned it.

I read a few folk "guaranteeing" that he'd been tapped up by Celtic or The Rangers.

How do I make a claim?

Me too.

He's earned the benefit of the doubt, same as it could be argued that he'd earned large doses of cynicism with his previous actions.

If he continues to do things like the hospital visit and remains focussed on his football through to the summer, he's done what was asked of him and nobody can begrudge him his move at that point.

Wonder if the club has agreed that if his form continues and clubs come in with bids meeting a set valuation come the summer, he can go on to bigger things.

He wants his move, so he's determined to earn it in the mean time.

It's almost as if someone can be a nice guy, and also be extremely ambitious about making the most of his short career...

That's not unique to Nisbet.

Any player who does well and a club meets their valuation will be gone. It's part of our business model.
