Usually someone has this up by now (so I might have missed it).
What are we thinking for tomorrow? I'd run with;
Marshall
Cadden
Fish
Hanlon
Stevenson
Jeggo
Newell
Campbell
Youan
McGeady
Hoppe (assuming Nisbet is out but haven't read anything)
McKirdy will probably start ahead of Hoppe though.

I'd rest McGeady, start McKirdy out wide. If nisbets not fit, then get big Hoppe in

This will be a very tough game. Sure their home record is excellent. The players have got to believe they are better than St Mirren and show it.
Hopefully Nisbet is ok. If not then Hoppe, Laidlaw or O'Connor to replace him.

Egan-Riley in for Cadden for me. I think Cadden has been poor for ages but, also, he looked like he was struggling on Wednesday night.
Probably McKirdy in for Nisbet although would be tempted to put Hoppe straight in as McKirdy done very little.
Other than that, team probably picks itself.

That’s what I’d go for too. Cadden has been on an extended run of poor form and without being too nitpicky it was his error that led to the corner for the goal on Wednesday. When CJ came on his first touch was an excellent tackle and I don’t think he has come up to warm the bench.
I’d throw Hoppe in straight away with McGeady and Youan either side. St Mirren are a physical bunch as well and McKirdy didn’t have an answer for it on Wed.

Reading LJ interview about the window and how Hoppe came here because he him needs games and having him alleviates pressure on Nisbet playing every minute of every game I could see him starting if Nisbet is still not 100%
I'm not anti McKirdy in the slightest but at St Mirren he didn't do anything that makes him the automatic choice should Nisbet be out.

We are waiting on Nizzy s Scan Result It’s a matter of how long he will be out for, but certainly won’t be in squad tomorrow
Might be two weeks might be two months Let’s hope it’s the shorter period

If Miller is fit I’d start him ahead of Cadden. I mean actually fit though, not the condition he came on against Aberdeen in where it looked like he wasn’t quite right. No surprise he missed county on Tuesday. If Miller isn’t fit then CJ at right back for me.
If Nisbet is out I’d be tempted to start Hoppe as he offers physicality and an aerial presence which is important with the amount of crosses we put in the box.
Although, Youan now has 2 in 2 when being played through the middle.

Miller? he looks really awkward and I'm not sure its all down to fitness, I don't think that experiment is going to work.....file next to all the others....
It will likely be Cadden again, but wouldn't be averse to CJ

You’ve reached that conclusion on miller after very minimal appearances, including one where he was clearly not fit?

Yes, although happy to be wrong. I generally fall into the it'll all come good eventually, next game, or the one after that, repeat etc, but I don't think it will in this case

Cadden in the front 3?
Right midfield really. I just think this will be a battle and maybe just need to stay tight for the first part of the game
If not then I’d play Youan there and Hoppe central

I thought he had a disaster in that type of position at Tynecastle so maybe wouldn’t opt for that. I think your 2nd option of Youan wide and Hoppe central would be better

Think that will be the team or Cadden at right back.
Team basically picks itself due to lack of options.

Only lost at home to Motherwell but got a feeling this will be their second defeat of the season
We were honking the last time through there, so time for a wee bit redemption.

From what I've seen of him I don't rate him either. That being said I hope he proves me wrong and goes on to be an excellent player for us and I'm in no way advocating that we get rid. Just I don't think he's been very good so far

Don’t think Harry has the physique for this game. Hoppe gives us a target and with Youan and McGeady in and around him, should hopefully create opportunities.
Something different.

Wouldn't make many changes from the last couple of games, obviously Nisbet will be out so bring the new guy in for him, would keep the rest, we need consistency just now
