He was excellent then got a bad injury and has struggled since but injury aside he was a cracking player. He seems to be saying he’s overcome the injuries now so if that’s the case he would be a great addition IF that’s the case

Might be worth looking at him for a month and seeing what his fitness is and how he copes with training and contact. The last thing we need is another injury prone player though as it doesn't matter how good you are if you aren't on the park

He was a brilliant player for Hibs. Kept it simple, always available to play and seemed a great guy for the young team around him in his later seasons.

Prospective coaches are invited to watch clubs train all the time. Wouldn't read anything in to it. He's probably mates with LJ or McAllister. I don't think Andy Webster is going to gather info to help mastermind a St Mirren win.

Says a lot that he’s persevered and wants to play.
I remember thinking he was decent.
Short term contract, if he stays fit and performs, extend in the summer.

Pretty much agree with this - Klosse would be class I think but at 34 likely short term.
Gunnarson on the other hand - was certainly a decent option at CH in May 2016 and will hopefully have improved further still. 31 is a good age for a CH - massive affinity with Hibs - get him in!

My timings might be out , but im thinking andy webster and lee johnson were team mates at Hearts and possibly Bristol City. If that’s the case , then there is a good chance they are friends off the field. It’s common for coaches to drop into other club’s training and look for ideas and learn other methods
