My mate never turned up today, but tbf he told me a few weeks ago he couldn’t make it.

I offered his ticket to my mates (8 of them) on the hibs group chat. Not a single response - I went alone. I’m now telling them all about the last time Hibs beat Aberdeen by that margin… never!

One of the first Hibs matches I went to was a 4 v 0 win against Aberdeen at ER in a League Cup group match in about 1970 . Since then , I don`t remember us beating them by more than 2 , maybe a 4 v 1 once . I remember when they won league when they beat us 0 v 5 at ER in 1980 . We were relegated so was a very low moment ( much lower than present situation some folk here go on about ) but I knew some time we`d beat them heavily too .
