Anyone else?

Personally I’m looking forward to having a look at the new generation of players that we’re going to be watching over the next few years. What will be will be in relation to off field turmoil, I just feel this is a good time to get behind the boys, the only way is up.

Yes - me too. Not sure why. I'm not even expecting to see any academy players. I'm half expecting:

Marshall

Miller
Cadden
Fish
Stevenson
Cabraja

Campbell
Jeggo
Newell

McGeady

McKirdy

as our starting line-up.

but - it feels like a really crucial game. I feel like if we lose we get relegated and if we win we qualify for Europe. Ridiculous really, but it just feels like a pivotal point in the season.

100# with you on this but I’m not convinced In the slightest we will see any youngsters playing beyond 5-10 mins sub appearances. I think he will fill the team with already established players - he’s probably got just enough numbers to avoid using youngsters.

Don't think you'll see much of the young boys tbh, you'll likely get an over the hill Hanlon and Stevenson, then when we go down 2-0 you might get a Laidlaw or O'Connor for 10mins.

Which is ridiculous to be honest. We are dreadful and down to the bare bones.

When do these young guys get a chance ?

The so called established players have had numerous chances and not many of them can say they deserve a place in the team.

Get the young guys in and let’s see what they’ve got, can’t be any worse than the crap we’ve been watching all season.

I’m a bit nervous about today to be honest. If Nisbet available he must start. Can’t play all the young lads so it’s all about game management. Be nice to see at least one of them given a chance though.

If any of the young guns start I think it will be Ethan Laidlaw, wouldn't rule out two or three getting on at some point.

They need a pick me up and a debut today might encourage them to keep working hard.

Probably won’t see any of the young players. Being presented as trying to bring them through whereas they’re only really there because of the nick of the squad IMO. I’d much rather see them in the team myself though.

I’m a bit ambivalent about todays game. Quite interested to see if we can pull a result out the bag, although I expect that we’ll do that phud Goodwin a favour and save his skin for another week!

Laidlaw showed promise last season but he has really kicked on this season.

Has come on leaps and bounds.

I'm really looking forward to the game today, I always look forward to watching Hibs but with five of the youngsters stripped I would reckon there could be at least one League debut taking place.

Not really.

Another defeat and if results don't go our way we will be closer to the relegation/play-off spots.

Would darken the mood even more if we get beaten by an Aberdeen team in dire form.

I was dreading it tbh and felt it was quite likely to be poisonous from both sets of fans.

I doubt many youngsters will start but I think it's inevitable a couple will make appearances from the bench, or it should be. With that in mind I'm quite looking forward to it.

If the team shows a bit heart and desire then much like last week they will get good backing from the stands. We all know there is a lack of quality so effort is all you can ask. I think, for the most part, a lot of the anger is aimed elsewhere, even moreso when it's our own youngsters on the park.

El Sackio - be interesting today. There will be fans of both sides accepting a defeat if it means the manager is dismissed. In some respects a draw will not be a good result imo, lose today and I fail to see how Johnson in particular can survive.

I think he’s here til end of season, unless the fans made their feelings known in the stands or after a game then it maybe forces the hands of those above.

LJs going nowhere if we lose.

0-0 would be the most likely score if either side had a defence!

As long as we aren't in danger of relegation I don't really care about LJ getting until the end of the season now.

It's obvious we aren't backing him in any meaningful way now so there is an inevitably about his going. A new manager coming in Feb/March time has to work with this mess of a squad and is potentially under pressure within weeks if results continue in a similar vein to what they have been since that Celtic game.

Johnson's hand is going to be forced when it comes to blooding youngsters so let him do the dirty work in sorting out the ones who have a chance and then give a new guy a clean slate in the summer.

Is it punishment for Nisbet to be on bench or on bench and won’t be used to avoid injury (transfer) ?

Who knows..

But a team that doesn’t have many goals in it you would think he would start but maybe LJ trying to show authority.
