Said it before, it's all about the "game day experience" with this guy. A guy I used to work beside was talking to Gordon at either the Walker or Solheim Cup golf tournament, not long after he took over.

Asked him his thoughts on Hibs and Scottish football - "you guys want to win every game, huh?" was his response.

As long as we keep buying the whole experience bit and sell out the giant foam hands when they tell us to we are likely to see the trend continue until the cash for crap dries up.

When I was walking towards lochend after the game, it struck me how quiet the fans were. There was no ire. It’s like a reluctant acceptance that we are rank and get spanked off that shower every time we play.

It's all about squeezing the last dollar out of people lost that community feel. Its funny we haven't heard a lot from Ron? Have we spent all of the cash brought in from Doig etc and season tickets on players or has a lot of this gone to upgrade facilities.

He definitely cares, but from a financial point of view.

Not so sure he does from a sporting perspective, but it's in his financial interests for the club to be performing well.

This true now I think about it & I include myself in this, a slow, head down trudge down St Clair with the background noise being the Hearts fans giving it large.

Made me think how bad it must be for them or The Rangers to leave ER with Sunshine on Leith being belted out behind them and it’s just depressing that after the dire time leading up to relegation and then the what now seem halcyon days of 2017/2018 when everyone was engaged and up for it that we’ve come full circle.

Won’t be long until our home gates fall into 4 figure numbers, maybe then those charged with the stewardship of our club will realise something is amiss.

We could’ve kicked on, we could’ve and should’ve cemented our place as perennial challengers for top 3, instead we’ve just gone backwards.

Apathy is a good way of putting where we’ve ended up.

This exactly what will happen, he'll keep his head buried and wait till it all goes away. If (sorry WHEN) Ron tries to offer the same BS to the podcasters they should take the decision not to publish it. Ron uses this a a PR platform to get his propaganda across.

In fairness, Ron told Matty and someone else (believe it might’ve been one of the DTS boys) to challenge him on the transfer window in January that was poor & I believe they sent something across and they’ve been blanked ever since.

Ron won’t come out to the podcasts again IMO, he doesn’t like being questioned or challenged on anything.
