Really sorry to hear this today as I found the local Argos in letterkenny a excellent place to go when something was needed and would imagine people through out Ireland will miss it too !

Sligo one was handy but I’m guessing Amazon use would have a lot to do with their demise.

Didn't actually think on Amazon though I'm sure it would have been a factor as well , and Brexit too I'd imagine. Pity it was a handy way for shopping for people like me that hates shopping 😁

We've made real progress in Achill over the last few years and are now using hard cash, though it's a right pain in the arse trying to buy anything with punts on the mainland!
