PLEASE, no auguring or negativity, one question and nobody else's opinion matters!

What do you feel is positive about the club just now?

Here are mine:

Squad members: Boyle, Marshall, Cadden, Rocky, Kenneh, Newell, McGeady, Nisbet and Youan. There is also a youthfulness in the squad and this will bear fruit in the future, it's raw just now but developing.

The stadium: Great experience inside and the hospitality investment will reap rewards longer term and allow us to invest.

It's not all bad, let's hear yours.

U19s and their continued trip into Europe after the 'big boys' of the glasgow bigots getting hoofed out. We have, by all accounts a group of exciting young players, not just in the 19s but right down the age groups. I would love to see a chunk of them get more 1st team opportunities, maybe we have the next Deek or Scot Brown at the club already.

Josh Campbell is developing into a much better player than a lot of folk give him credit for.

(I'm not sure that's grammatically correct but I have neither the time nor the inclination to correct it! 😃)

At full strength Boyle Nisbet have goals in them, McGeady and Youan have trickery Campbell has drive, we have a very solid keeper and a very promising young centre back. This only really works as grounds for positivity if we imagine it’s only mid July and we still have a million in the bank to spend on five other players though.

The news that the board are looking at revisiting structure of the club is welcome.

We hopefully have an exciting signing or two lined up in this transfer window.

We have an opportunity to get revenge on Hearts in just a few weeks ( yes this could also be a negative...)

Martin Boyle will return at some point.

Tough times are an opportunity to change direction for the better. Difficult times ALWAYS lead to better days (just look at 1990 then 1991 and 2014 then 2016). And when they come they will be much better for the adversity we are going through right now.

Form is cyclical, it will come good. As long as the club remains on a stable financial footing we’ll just have to live with the ups and downs of being a football fan.

We don’t have to go to Tynecastle again until next season.

It's positive that both Edinburgh teams will be in the Championship next year to maintain the derby :greengrin:wink:

But seriously, it's Hibs, am always hopeful, it's the only way to be. to retain hope that there are enough good occasions where they can make us proud and happy in amongst the madness and to retain some level of my sanity :flag:

And Melkerson will be our first 30 goals a season striker

Despite results I think since the World Cup break we’ve been good in parts.

Now we’re up against teams closer to us in the league I think we’ll take care of them.

Losing to Celtic, Rangers and Hearts whilst infuriating doesn’t change my mind of where the club currently is

However disappointed I am in results like the derby I’ve reached a point in my life where the outcome of a game of football is not going to massively impact on my mood. The joy of winning/celebrating a goal scored will, for me now anyway, far exceed the dissatisfaction felt by a defeat. Going to watch Hibs these days is far more about the day out and time spent with my ‘Hibs family’ than any result.

Our fans keep me positive, even when the product on the pitch is once again terrible. We constantly have our hopes built up, only to inevitably have them destroyed, but we still turn up and hope this time will be different. We have a reputation of being a tough crowd to please and of being impatient, but, when you look at the nonsense we've had to endure for decades, it's a wonder anybody still goes to games. The Hibs support always gives me hope that one day we'll have a sustained period of relative success. Ultimately it is our club; it doesn't belong to the crap manager of any given moment or the idiots who are lucky enough to be on the pitch.

Here is some good news.Heard Stubbsy on Talksport this morning. He hit the nail on the head when talking about a well intentioned owner who unfortunately is disconnected from the fans.He was of the opinion that the route of the problem was in recruitment and changing managers yet again wouldn’t necessarily change things.Relegation is a possibility which would be unfair on the fans. So it turns out Hibs fans aren’t the only ones going through the ringer with the way their team is run as Stubbsy was talking of his first love Everton.Problem shared and all that.

Here is what we have so far! See, it's not all doom and gloom. (No idea why it's spaced out like it has :( Sorry!)

The success of the under 19’s

Jeffers loves green

LyonHibs isn’t a Jambo

Josh Campbell is progressing well

Boyle Nisbet have goals in them, McGeady and Youan have trickery Campbell has drive, we have a very solid keeper and a very promising young centre back

Fiolex1 likes that there’s less birds at the game (seagulls!)

Rocky is developing well (Donegal)

Win our next 2 and we are in the euro places

The structure is being revised

New signings

Hearts cup revenge incoming

Players returning from injury

Chances being created

Linlithgowhibbie is winning the grandson derby 4-2 (How long left Lithgae?!)

Jeffers seat is fixed

We own our own training ground

We didn’t move to Straiton

Greenbeard loves good grammer (so he does)

Only 9 years until our next piece of silverware

Our fans are good for Hibernia&Alba (and us all I’m sure at times!)

Block 7 have been outstanding for H18 SFR

Blackpoolhibs loves that posters can spell our players names

Some good ‘Ying & Yang’ for balance

If we get pumped this weekend we will still be 8th for Cabbage

Hopefully there's stuff here you maybe didn't realise was a positive and it can take the focus away from the last few days and weeks.

He'd probably not be allowed to move far from his allotted position though so he'd have a to be a goalkeeper.

I think there’s stuff to be positive about

Hospitality is great

They’re expensive but I’ve finally been able to get a macaroni pie two games in a row

Hibs Community Foundation do a lot to help those who need it

The Changing Room initiative was started at Hibs to help men tackle mental health through football. Not only has it developed into drops ins before games and at the end of the month but it’s now spread to 27 clubs throughout Scotland

HTC is impressive

I think there are a few things to be positive about. I also think that maybe the club try a bit too hard. Be it with the signings (too many youngsters, too much media buzz about them)

I also think we’re not far off from clicking on and off the pitch

I can’t wait for it to happen
