Sorting the strategy and other senior roles is a long term thing. I don’t think that can happen right now. For me, we need to try and get someone in who can get more from what we have in the short term to keep us in the league.

My anger is apoplectic and quite frankly directed with those at the very top of the club. Sacking one piece of the jigsaw isn’t making that go away.

Considering the difference in the performance second half when he eventually got the right team out there we just need to find someone who gets it correct from the start.

Ron owns the club. He doesn’t need to do anything he doesn’t want to. He’ll act to get the team performing again because it’s in his interest. He won’t be handing over to anyone if he gets it wrong. It’s only when he gets it right will he consider selling for the best price possible.

I don’t think anyone is getting a lot more from them. But IMO all we really need is someone who is going to help us get 4 or 5 wins to guarantee safety. I think we have a better chance of achieving that with a manager who plays players on their positions as a starting point. Chuck in the comments he’s made about the players today (which I don’t necessarily disagree with) and I just don’t see him getting anything more than he is at the moment.
