He’s got balls. Something severely lacking in many of our players.

He’s not going stop trying things out of fear of getting it wrong and has more creative ability than the rest put together.

Looked pretty comfortable with just over 45 minutes today. Hopefully get at least an hour from him in the next one.

It’s so noticeable how far off it some of our players are when a player like McGeady comes.


Composure, first touch, vision, passing etc.

He never done anything fancy today but I just thought it was obvious how comfortable he was on the ball regardless of what was happening.

At times throughout the game I was close to laughing at how scared some of our players were.

The turning back and passing it back to Marshall as soon as someone presses them drives me crazy.

We don’t have any answers ….. any port in a storm, as far as I’m concerned. If McGeady is a short term solution, get him on at the start. Survival is the name of the game.

Totally agree. The starting line up was wrong and the resultant half time subs (both recent signings going off to join the rest of our summer signings in the bench…) were just an admittance of getting it wrong from LJ.

Probably. I can't see RG admitting his huge mistake quite so soon.

Looked better than what we had on the pitch before, Mcgeady and Boyle could of been a good pairing but now are we relying on Mcgeady for our creative spark if he can go on a good run of games?
