Haven't purposely missed a game in 10 years (eg when I didnt have to work).

However, such is my utter disillusionment and lack of connection with the current team, I chose to not attend Ibrox and I'm not attending Sunday. Unthinkable before for me but that's where I'm at just now and I get the feel that other regular attendees are feeling similar.

You're not the only one. I am purposely not going on Sunday as the football and team is utter crap. I'll watch it from behind the sofa instead. If I hadn't already paid for my cup ticket I wouldn't be going to that either. Big changes needed to encourage fans back.

I'll leave it until the Saturday to decide but I suspect I will come to the same decision. I used to look forward to every game and really felt guilty if I missed an away game but now I won't be bothered. I have even missed a couple of home games where I have chose to photograph other games rather than watch Hibs. I would never have done that a few years back and went about 8 years without missing a first team game at ER including friendlies etc.

Hibs have become very commercial and money focussed and that is what I hate most about the world in general. It all feels a bit like a business rather than a club and while I understand the need to get money in I feel the money is more important than the ultimate product on the pitch. LD got the focus right for me, she had a plan that for the most part worked and she brought the club and community together. She was busy winning Cups and signing players like SJM and is being criticised for not having a few big TVs which are mainly an annoyance at games just like the advertising banners. LD had her priorities in the right order and in football you can build it but they will only come as long as the product on the pitch is decent. I still love Hibs but I can't say I like many elements of the club at the moment.

I’m the same, I’m afraid. I’ve got a date clash on Sunday with something else, and normally going to the Hibs game would win out, but given it’s on SKY I’ll go to the other thing and catch the second half.

Sad state of affairs…I just wish to **** we could get an owner who sees the potential of this club and kicks it on ON the park, not the absentee overlord we’ve currently got who is in danger of poisoning the support against the team and by extension the club as a whole.

I got grief for saying I was considering giving up my ST last night and I understand it, people feel protective of Hibs, I feel protective of Hibs.

However I can't help feeling the way I feel. In 2012 and after relegation there was a bit of fight left in me and almost a siege mentality. I also felt like after relegation a plan that was already in place was brought forward by a few weeks and the end game was clear, progress was fairly swift and I bought into it. I'm utterly stumped as to what the plan is now and I dare anyone to try and argue there has been any progress on the park. We are regressing both in terms of this season and over the medium to longer term as well. It's dire.

I've done a lot of groundhopping this season. I've taken in games involving Spartans, FC Edinburgh, Civil Service Strollers, Tranent, Linlithgow Rose, Broomhill, Cumbernauld Colts, Preston, Leith Atheltic, Whitehall Welfare and a few others. I've genuinely enjoyed all of those games more than pretty much anything Hibs have offered up. It's a bizarre thing that as I have started to enjoy football more generally again I've started to lose interest in Hibs. I've got a ticket for Stirling Uni v Dundee Utd in the SC and I'm honestly looking forward to that game more than ours v Hearts. My mates and I are sponsoring the Preston game next weekend and I can't wait for that either. Going to Motherwell feels like a chore rather than something to be enjoyed At these smaller clubs there is friendliness and an appreciation of your support, at Hibs it feels like the standard punter is just an afterthought now.

I know I'm not alone in feeling like this and it's not something I particularly enjoy. Not renewing a ST will be argued as being counter productive and I wouldn't argue otherwise. Treat fans like customers and you can't complain when they behave as such though.

Seems like you and others have lost interest because we are losing and rudderless. Not a unique situation to Hibs and one that you have ridden through before as you noted above.

If you are getting your football fix satisfied elsewhere then fair enough and while I understand and share the despair and disillusionment re the current regime, I don't see the benefit in turning your back on a club you profess to care about.

It is what it is though and hopefully one day (soon) the club can get it right on the park and win back those fans who seem to be deserting en masse.

The saying goes it is the hope that kills you. I disagree, it is the lack of hope that is killing me, or my enthusiasm. I have two games booked to photograph this month, one in Arbroath and one at ICT. I'm looking forward to seeing some other teams, and trying to get some images that the papers and agency will like more than I am going to the Hibs games. I've turned down assignments to watch Hibs a few times but I won't now. I enjoy photographing other games more than watching ours and that is a complete sea change to the way I have felt for a very long time. It also doesn't help that it means choosing Hibs is sometimes a big financial decision but it isn't even about the money. I simply enough the visiting other grounds more than watching disappointment on repeat.

Unfortunately, going to games where you have no affinity with the clubs playing is far more enjoyable!
Have done it a few times over the years, and you watch the football on show, not if the refs a homer or we should have had a penalty.
Once you don the green tinted specs, its hard to even see the other team!!!

Just created an account and logged in and been able to answer my own question, sadly it doesn't.

I can see absolutely no information on Hibs' announcement on how wheelchair users purchase tickets for this match. Unfortunately this isn't the first time I've noticed this.

Could I please ask that this is raised with someone senior within the club to ensure that this is remedied for all future matches?

I totally get where you're coming from. If we've not played or been away I've gone to linlithgow rose or bo'ness. I was at linlithgow today and enjoyed it (apart from burning my tongue on molten gravy!!). Eldest gets a free season ticket for bo'ness through his team. Both heads are being turned by the EPL as well. It's getting more difficult to keep them interested in Hibs when we're losing.
