Shout out to these guys for last night, pity the team can't keep trying in adversity like they did.

I've been watching a few You Tube videos lately all centered around the fact that in the face of European football being dominated by the usual suspects in domestic leagues and in European competitions fans of many clubs simply see being there to support their clubs for good or bad as the end game, with any on field success being a bonus you make the most of if and when it happens. In many cases love for the club and the culture surrounding it transcends the desire for on field success ... the likes of Real Betis and Union Berlin being good examples.

None of that means the fans don't want their club to be successful or stops them complaining about the lack of it, but their loyalty and attendance at games doesn't stand or fall on the back of it ... it's support for supporting's sake and how I wish Hibs could become one of these clubs, we have the history, we have the community background, we just need the will.

Rumor has it that the singing section may well end up in the FF lower next season and that for me could be a start to that sort of attitude within our fanbase ..... I'm just an auld romantic, sorry can't help it :greengrin

Good on the young team being impressed with them at home games this season.
Hopefully if they are moving to the famous five lower next season the club can accommodate anyone being displaced in the famous five upper at the same reduced price for the kids.
They might not know it but some of us auld farts used to sing back in the old days up against the segregation fences at Love Street , Tannadice , Pittodrie , Brockville , Fir Park , Tynie etc

Have the club indicated to FF Lower ST holders that they may be required to vacate their seats from next season?

With two or three months until the ST renewals some clarification of what is being proposed will need to come soon.

Fans totally pissed off the way the team are playing, the direction the club are going, financial hardship hitting fans in the pockets and then, oh by the way when you renew you will have to pick another stand because we are booting you out of your seats

Good luck hibs, you are going to need it

There’s a thread on here regularly saying that they are moving to the FF lower but it never happens.

I have my ST in the FF upper and I’m yet to meet another ST holder in there that wants the signing section back!

The question was asked in the season ticket feedback if anyone had any issues with the singing section being relocated. Will be interesting if hibs will ever release that feedback.

The singing section needs to slow down the turnover of new songs. By the sounds of things there's a new one every week. Not only do I not know the words, in a lot of cases I don't even know the tune!

Yes, I know that makes me sound like an auld fart but I am one that loves to join in. Give us a chance to learn them or it'll mostly only be the singing section actually sining!
