Mostly a reader, rather than a poster but ;

Do we know whether LJ has been told to coach those identified by Ian Gordon , or has LJ had direct involvement in recruitment ?

From the outside, it would appear that LJ has completely misjudged the standards of the SPFL given what appears to be a number of really poor signings .

Who’s to blame, do we know given the inevitable clamour for LJ sacking ?

It’s an important question which I think the fans are entitled to an answer. That way at least we know who to direct our anger at for this shambles we are in

Who’s to blame, do we know given the inevitable clamour for LJ sacking ?LJ is one of the most experienced managers in our league and has an assistant who has been working with him for several years . Steve Keane also has loads of experience in management too . I`d be amazed if they had no or little say in signings . Recruitment rightly being questioned but have to be realistic - are other teams in our league signing players who are standing out for more than a few weeks or months if at all and don`t have fitness problems ? Are coaches / manager getting enough out of current squad ? Could coaches of youth teams be doing better ? Like all clubs in the world , our recruitment will be a mixture of recommendations from managers , agent offers etc . Club deserve praise for casting net wider even if Bojang doesn`t seem to have been quality we`re looking for and we couldn`t get signing of Uruguayan defender finished . Not expecting any great signings this window so up to manager and players to do better .

I think the problem most fans have is with the sheer number of signings we’ve made that aren’t even good enough to get any sort of regular games or hardly any first team time at all. All teams will sign duds but we’ve signed a whole load of them in the past couple of years. It’s unacceptable the number of duds we’ve signed TBH.
