After Saturdays great result and performance, got my mojo again, and really looking forward to the game
Reading some quotes from Marshall, saying we will attack Celtic, which is great to hear
Can’t see too many changes from the starting line up on Saturday, providing we haven’t picked up any more injuries
Noticed Celtic played Hatate at right back on Saturday, hope Youan can expose him, and deliver another excellent performance

Celtic are obviously in terrific form but I honestly think we've been class in the two games since the WC break. I think we have a wee chance. I hope the players have fire in their bellies after the drubbing at Celtic Park. Looking forward to it.

I like him his no nonsense approach to football
We’ve scored 6 goals in our last 2 games since the break. Our players confidence should be high

Celtc have won their last 6 games, but only kept a clean sheet in one of them. Hibs can score against them, can we keep them out at the other end is the issue. Certainly think we can give them a game.

When he’s winning. Typical Old Firm manager when something goes against them. Or he perceives has went against them.

They are so far ahead of everyone now that we will have to be at our very best to get anything from this game , for me it's one of them games you aren't expected to win or draw and sometimes that's when we come good . Here's a article on the game about cars 😃.

We're getting nothing on Wednesday. It's all about next whenever it is at the Nanodome.
Looking forward to it but it’s difficult to see how we will get a result.
If we back off them we will get little possession and likely lose comfortably.
If we go for it they could rip us apart. I think it comes down to attitude and application. If we are brave and right up for it we might set a different tempo and give them a really hard time.
Looks like a two goal victory to me on paper for them.

I don't like seeing Hibs being defensive but I'd go down this route for the Celtic game , we have good attacking players that might hurt them on the counter attack , try and keep things tight for the first 20 , 30 minutes and you never know they might just get frustrated and slip up .

I was the same when my son was a mascot at the Motherwell game this season. I was absolutely buzzing to meet David Marshall. The whole experience was amazing, the players were great and my son said it was the best day of his life! Hope you both have a brilliant time.

scoring when you do get chance / s is crucial and where we have fallen down very often this season (things would look so much better if we had this knack all season)
big difference is with Nisbet & Magennis back we suddenly are taking more of chances we get (like at Ibrox) and if we get to play 10 men again :greengrin

Porto suspended so who do we think will take up his place in midfield.
Personally I think having Porto in there has been a breath of fresh air, he’s been great at breaking up play, winning aerial battles and generally providing a commanding presence… not to mention providing cover for the defence.
For years now I have thought playing one of our CBs in central
Midfield would be a great option… Lewy had some great games there this year and last, I used to think Efe would have done a great job there too.

Quite looking forward to tomorrow.
Said a few weeks ago that I thought we just needed to find a way of playing and/or stumble on something that works. Few players are playing different roles and, whilst you look at the team and it doesn’t look terribly attacking on paper, that’s six goals in two games.
For no real reason, I have a feeling we’ll at least give them a game tomorrow.

10 years ago I remember we had 2 home games over Christmas . We lost 0 v 1 to Ross County then beat Celtic 1 v 0 . Was based on a great defensive performance ( huge credit to manager Pat Fenlon ) and taking chance and it also meant we were top of league or near about so we obviously had a relatively better team than now .

Celtic have not won in Leith, in the league, since January 2014. The Hibees did spend three years in the second tier but even allowing for that, Celtic have still gone to Easter Road on seven occasions in the SPFL and failed to win.
Home win then!

They beat us in league at home in October 2021. They were 3-0 up early doors and Boyle pulled a goal back before HT. I’m sure it was pelting with rain

Celtic or Rangers at Easter Road should never be a write off. It's that mentality we need to get rid of. Different when you've got 50/60k and the ref against you in Glasgow but not at home. Get wired in about them, press them and fight like our lives dependend on it and we can take something. St Mirren showed that.

Chasing shadows for the first 30 minutes.
Well if they get a sending off we've always got a chance 😁, who knows though think we've looked a we bit better after the break and funny things can happen.
If our players show the courage of our supporters then we'll give them a game. I always prefer the big evening matches under the lights to the afternoon ones. Much livelier atmosphere.

If the peace wall is up then the good guys and gals will be sent down either St Clair St or along Lochend, unless you wait for the barrier to be opened and let on your way. Albion Road, over the bridge and the shortcut to Sainsbury all blocked till that lot bugger off
