Looks superb. Two goals and an assist in less than two games is a brilliant comeback for him. Some of his touches today were brilliant.

Hope we’re looking at his contract so we don’t have another Porteous situation next season.

Looking really lean too. Looking forward to what he can produce for the remainder of the season.

He was poor before his injury. Looks far more like the player we signed originally. Great to have him back

I'd imagine he'd be looking to move on at the end of his contract tbh so might have a situation in the summer

A striker who knows where the net is. We've badly missed him.

Is he out of contract at the end of this season ?

Has one more season so will be sold at the end of the season.
He will be 26 so will want a shot at the big time of the English Championship before it's too late.

Got a funny feeling he won’t extend his deal which would be a shame.

Missed him badly, I actually thought when he got injured that I didn’t care as he had been poor.

That was under Maloney though, he looks hungry, fit and on form. Great to have him back.

He’s had improved contract offers since before his injury which were knocked back

He is class but if he isn’t going to sign a deal we need to look at trying to get some £ come the summer

He will be itching to move away, he has been since he signed for us. Hopefully has a great season and earns Hibs decent money.

This. He’ll be away, but we should enjoy him while he’s here and if he gets us in the conversation for 3rd place by March and April then I won’t be complaining if he gets a money move in the summer.

What a player first touch and pace from standing is tremendous. He'll not be with us long and good luck to him as he'll bring us money

Apart from his goals what is noticeable in the 2 games since he returned is his improved workrate and also his willingness to go in for a challenge

Did very well winning the ball then laying it off for Cadden for the 2nd goal.

It’s such a difference having a high quality striker up there to not just get on the end of things and convert, but to bring others into a more potent looking forward line.

If he can keep injury free, he’ must be a stick on starter every game from now on till seasons end.

I must admit - his best football for Hibs was when fans weren’t allowed into the ground and I honestly don’t think I’ve ever come away from a game I’ve watched in the flesh thinking “Nisbet’s a good player.”

Until today. He looked slimmer, more mobile, more motivated, his touch is better, everything about him just looks much, much better.

I’m in little doubt that it’s done with earning a move away the goal but as long as he’s playing the way he did today, none of us can complain.

He’s definitely more motivated, time out will have obviously helped with that.

Didn’t think his attitude was good last season before his injury. Was always loads of finger pointing and blaming everyone else. Today, and at Ibrox, there was none of that. Second goal today he actually played a poor pass but went and won it back in the 50/50 straight away.

Really hope he can keep up what he’s shown in the last two games.

There is now way he will extend. Celtic could get him cheap and he’d jump.

Some ridiculously negative comments on here. In the period before his injury Nisbet seemed to be criticised for either not being in the proper place for a striker, ie dropping too deep for the ball or not working hard enough, ie, not dropping deep to win the ball. Now he's back, scored 2 in 2 and looks superb and posters on here with remarkable insight tell us he's just doing this to earn a move. How's about just doing something unusual and give our full and unreserved support to a young lad fighting back from injury and who is demonstrating what a quality player he is. Well played Kevin!

Almost forgot how good he could be.

Touch, touch whilst spinning a defender, hold up play, movement and finishing.

As well as being a strong lad who isn’t scared of doing the dirty side of the game.

The finish today was excellent and one I would expect many, if any, in our squad to score

We're a better team with Nisbet back and in form.

If he can keep playing this well until the end of the season then I'll be sorry to see him go but delighted by the fee we'll get.
