One of the biggest combat sport upsets in history, 3-1 down in the final round with a minute left to go vs probably the second greatest ever in the weight class and he lands the hail mary KO. 10 fight undefeated streak as well as being raised in Brum. Thought given it's MMA he might not win it, but thought he'd at least be nominated considering the bigot Fury got a nomination a while back.

He's still "Sir" Lester in my eyes.
Wightman and Muirhead probably split the Scottish vote. Wightman's win was a bit of a one-off. A "fluke" would be very unfair but he'd have needed to be more consistent to have had any chance. McColgan has improved and had a stellar year but Commies and European success don't compare to Worlds (where she finished well down the field) or Olympics. And you shouldn't be winning any awards with a gait like that!

I don't know the names of any of their team, I'm vaguely aware that mainstream media focussed on the erchie of the winning goal scorer as much their footballing talent and that's about the extent of it.
