View Full Version : £10 entry to the Albion Bar for cup game?

Just received my email confirming ticket prices for this game.

It appears I’ve got to pay £10 to access the Albion Bar, despite me paying £200 for a “membership” to this facility at the start of the season?

So I’m £38 all in as a season ticket holder if I want a use a facility I’ve already paid for?

Or have I missed something in the small print?

Don't think the Albion Bar, like the season ticket, was for anything other than league games.

Edit - post below shows this is wrong.

I’ve emailed Martin about this, membership is supposed to cover all domestic matches at Easter Road*. This is the wording from the welcome email we received upon joining.

“Your Albion Bar Access Only membership covers all home matches at Easter Road, which includes cinch Premiership and Scottish Cup fixtures.”

*we were already out of the LC when this email was received.

It's not a home match though. It's an additional event.

The cup game should definitely be included going by the wording that is quoted, so Scotty is absolutely right to question it.

So why mention "Scottish Cup fixtures" at all then?

How’s it not a home match?

My apologies! Was being a fud and thinking the discussion was around the beam back!

Aye, you've got a very valid point then!!

Always worth questioning but I'm sure the usage of "home" and then "includes" will be pointed out and fairly defended IMO!

The wording states that access includes, and is therefore open to, all 'home' league and SC games. What part of home and includes is confusing you?

What's the difference between a Scottish Cup match at Easter Road and a Scottish Cup additional event at Easter Road?

Martin has emailed back and confirmed access to Albion Bar for members with a matchday ticket at no extra cost.
