Seems like some EU politicians have been filling their pockets with money from Qatar. Police have carried out raids and politicians have been suspended pending an enquiry, looks like some will do jail time. The fallout from this could be massive but at least the authorities seem to be taking the threat to democracy seriously unlike some other countries.

Surely not Qatar? They would never use corruption to benefit them by, for instance, winning an international tournament

I'm surprised people are still dealing in bags of cash, like it old school.
