You are planning to go shopping after the Hibs game on Xmas eve? Might be worth just doing that a bit earlier. :greengrin

A step too far now, lots of people will be relying on trains to visit family and loved ones, never mind the football!

Weaponising Christmas!

Definitely.

Time for the train operators to do the right thing and put a stop to this. I reckon they will hold out though as they know this will turn the tide of public opinion from supportive of the strikes to against them.

Classic divide and conquer.

Quite lot of fans will looking for an excuse to give this game a miss, and travel logistics may well be enough to justify staying at home rather than look at alternatives on what isn't the most appealing date on the calendar for football fixtures. Particularly when the opposition is Livingston and their industrial brand of football designed not to thrill.

I reckon this will be our lowest league crowd of the season and while I`ll be there myself, its not one I'm hugely excited about.

Train operators won't lose a penny, the contract indemnifies them. Government are loving this, the RMT are Sunaks Miners strike.

He would have to win for that to be the case. Plenty more strikers to worry about in the weeks and months ahead. Hopefully, the attendance won't be too badly effected as it would be a nice Christmas present for all of us to get a win and a decent atmosphere

Will easily be our lowest league crowd imo. Not Hibs fault but the kick off time is a shocker. Add to that the current feeling around Hibs and that we’ll likely be fresh off the back of a defeat at Ibrox and I’d be very surprised if the crowds get any lower throughout the season.

The last train left my local station in 1962 so it won’t affect me. Can’t say the fixture has much appeal though.
