Weren't they one of the main break away clubs that wanted to form a new super league ? .I can't actually remember a clubs whole board resigning before. Seems to have been a lot of things going on there

Yes your right according to what I've just read there if article is correct , it also went into the 3 clubs debt . Real Madrid with debt of 263 million which is excluding there stadium redevelopment. Barcelona debt of 608 million euros and juventus with debt of 223million , down from 375 million the previous year. Big clubs overspending and wanting more , basically boils down to at the end of the day

Yep, and as I'm sure you also know, Juventus are a club with a history of corruption. Tragic really, when you consider how many great players, even legends who've played for them, but as you rightly say, it all boils down to greed.

Said it for many a long year.

The football authorities are asleep at the wheel on this. Clubs need protecting from themselves. The game is too fixated on “development” first and foremost it should be about sustainability - of finance, of organisation, and of the environment. They’ve thrown all that out the window and we have the monster created.
