Interesting read. David Baddeil has tried to do the right thing.

I think it helps to look back and address past actions and not just excuse them as being typical of the time, for example.

Indeed.

I liked his documentary about holocaust deniers a little while ago but I struggle with his humour at times. It has a certain smugness, snideness and cruel ridicule about it that turns me off.

He's an arse hole because Russel brand was interviewing with him and brand says hibs were his Scottish team due to a reciprocal arrangement with Irvine Welsh. Brand mentioned Irvine said everyone wants to be a hibs fan even if they think they don't. Banterless baddiel said along the lines of no way hibs are crap arsenal are 10 times better, yeah no bother.

Brand says the same about hibs Welsh and his love for West ham here
