Hibernian 3-1 The Rangers
what a night that was. A happier time for Boyler
Outstanding night. Just been looking at photos I took from the Hibs end.
Hampden empty apart from us was class.

I don’t think I’ll see another game where we are 3-0 up against one of the old firm (Or even any team) at hampden. An incredible game and one that wasn’t full of nerves for 90 mins. Great night.

Absolutely wonderful day. The 2nd goal especially was mad scenes. The many who didn't bother their arse missed out.

3 nil up ...they pulled back 3.
Into extra time, Jimmy scores a rocket and Arthur takes the michael ,5-3 winners !!

I missed the second goal purely as I was in the Que for a pie 😂
Easily one of my favourite Hibs days out

One of the best days we’ve had, no one thought we had a chance and then that happened :greengrin

I don't think I've ever been as happy to win a game in my life.
The behaviour of that mob before the game was ridiculous. The thought of a bunch of sexually frustrated middle age bullies skulking home with their faces tripping them at HT still makes me smile today.

Fair point but how would you describe our club since that day regarding performances on the park?
Is disgraceful too strong?

Didn't make the replay in 1971 so I suppose I could have said 1971.

Yep, absolutely loved that game. Atmosphere was brilliant. Made all the sweeter by the fact it was so unexpected and the first big game since Covid restrictions lifted. Braw pre-match too in the cricket club with the .net bus

What a goal Jimmy scored. Still ranks as one of the best matches I have attended.

Walking through the rangers fans after the game was good to say the least a lot of pavement dancing they just can't take defeat it was great.

Saw one of them jumping a fence to try and get missiles out of a skip in a driveway full of rubble. Well done to the female police officer who grabbed him and and floored him.He was easily identifiable as he was dressed in orange.
