I’m wondering if the Livi game might get moved to noon or 1pm - as has occurred in the recent past for games on the 24th. Anyone able to recall when the decision has been made in this regard previously?

Can't remember, but it would make sense. Folk want to get home a bit earlier on Christmas eve.

Cos it’s Christmas mate.

Why?

Because it can be a busy day or because people want to get in and settled early or because people maybe have other plans in the early evening.

If the game is a 3pm kick off then I won't be there. If it's 12.30 or 1 then I will be.

They seem to have carte blanche these days to move games about at will, hopefully they do the same with this one

Noticed that 2 prem games got moved about 4 days ago. One moved to the 23rd and the other to a lunchtime kick off. They were announced by the SPFL at the same time so maybe that’s the opportunity passed. Both clubs would need to agree I suppose.

The Celtic game was moved to 12.30 before those two games so I think it’s just down to when the clubs ask.

In truth I do understand why folk want this one moved. But at this time of peace on earth and goodwill to all men spare a thought for us poor serial insomniacs for whom every lunchtime kick off is a trial :boo hoo:

Correct mate. But in my case it means that I often don't fall asleep until the wee small hours, no matter what time I get tae ma bed, in fact it seems the more I know I have to be up early the worse it seems to make me. So obviously if I finally nod off by 3am the last thing I need is to have to be up by 7 or 8 for the hour and a half drive to ER to get there in time for an hour in the pub before KO ..... my opposition to 12 noon kick offs at Hampden is well documented on here.

I cant remember a time I wasn't like this, it blighted my working life for 30 odd years .... no tips please, the only thing I haven't tried is a faith healer

I know you’ve said no tips so please excuse my ignorance but I swear by CBD capsules. Two a night, do the job.

I suffer from severe depression and anxiety and have struggled with a good proper sleep for 20 years or so.

CBD has done the trick lately though.

All the best.

Had the best nights sleep I’ve ever had after a few joints one night. Haven’t slept like it since. I think when the kids are a bit older I’ll experiment with it again.

Hibs pushed hard for an earlier kick off.

Not sure why it didn't happen but it wasn't through lack of effort on the clubs part.

As you say this seems a bit pointless really.

Sounds like Livvi digging their heels in, as they are playing on the Wednesday night
All Scottish championship games are on the Friday night

Hmmm! Says no tickets available. Is that right? Surely not!

Bump!!

No normal tickets available just packages. Assume they are yet to be released, yes? Surely not a sell out.

They must just not be available yet, there's no way the stadium will be anywhere near sold out for this fixture.

Surely you'll be able to just buy for the Livingston game though as you might not be able to make the Celtic match.

That would be very disappointing. I’m sure I’m not the only one who will be up in Edinburgh visiting family and wanting to catch a game.

You can buy tickets for the games individually. It says on the ticket site they’re usually available 2-3 weeks before the game.

You definitely will be able to buy a ticket for just one match. The 2 match package won't be the only option.
