Once again, they're behaving like spoilt children

Pr**ks! We all know the real reason for all this is revenge for them, rightly, having to restart in League 2. Their the ones who should be paying the SPFL's legal fees, not the other way around.

Plus every club will be getting reduced prize money from the SPFL having to renegotiate with cinch, whilst no doubt they will be getting a tidy sum from their alternative arrangement.

I'd hope they're getting none of the cinch money that goes into the pot. Do we know if that is the case? Don't remember seeing any news about it or anything about what the changes to the cinch deal were.

It was wrong that they had to start in League 2 because they didn't meet the criteria to do so at the time. It was also wrong for the authorities and media to pretend it's the same club as the one that went bust. Rules broken all over the place to appease them.

I just hope at the end of the season the SPFL dock half their winnings as they never promoted the league sponsor.
Their money could then be spread around the other 11 clubs including Celtic!!!
That would really teach them a valuable lesson!!!!

I've always imagined that there a whole host of bodies buried (metaphorically speaking) and both sides know where they are. If one goes down they all do, so the status quo is keeping themselves and everyone else from landing in a legal s***house..

Rangers FC went in to liquidation therefore no longer existed and therefore could not hold a licence. Despite the efforts of the powers that be to ignore that and simply allow a reincarnation to slide in to the void, the SPL/SPFL had to change the rules so that the new club could join the league structure. There was no expulsion and the new the rangers were done a huge favour.
To the best of my knowledge, Rangers FC lives in a
Filing cabinet somewhere in a place like companies house, still going through the lengthy process of liquidation.

Perhaps CropleyWasGod or someone else with a grasp of how this all happens could come along and tidy up the above 😊

It's like the Brits back in 2014 saying "vote No for lower energy bills" .. and now that their small-island tinpot Nationalism has dragged us all out of Europe, removed our kids' free movement & opportunities, and left us at the mercy of their Tory mates running Big Energy, there is no apology, no Mea Culpa, no basic human acknowledgement that 2014 led to this (or that rejoining the rest of the world will get us back to sanity again)
