An abject display ,a team with no soul etc etc.One player comes off another comes on ,making no real difference ,too big a squad of ordinary players and missing players through injury etc etc..
I am rather down about where my team is and my club.I have been a regular since famous five days and yesterday I was watching a team worse in my view than that put out by Terry Butcher..and we know how that ended.
Our manager says we are at the beginings of a journey ,we it could be one out the door.
Absences due to inury are NOTHING NEW to this club, but a shocking recruitment approach is most troubling ...We are levelling down not up.
For far too long we have missed a strong no prisoners centre half type..remember Roy Barry anyone?I am not syaing we need a Tam Forsyth(Jaws)or John Greig etc etc ,but these guys had a real determination to win .dare I mention Neil Lennon the player too ..our team also lack variation in play style adapting to the opposition quickly.
We remove our centre forward last night and continue to put high balls in the box over and over again..Ross Laidlaw is no dwarf in stature.Basic over hitting of cross balls and continual across the park sideways passing far to predictable (and so easy to counter).
We need a complete rethink ofr ideas and a clear plan ,not just rhetoric and constant repeating of the same old stuff which we are now seeing our current manager stating we have heard it all before so many times sadly it is not new.
I cannot understand why Hibs play without passion ,as supporters we have plenty of that I do still but basically we need a major rethink and overhaul if we are to get anywhere back to where we should be as a top Capital Club....
Adding to a squad so have more players should we hit issues in Europe through injury is all very well but first we need to qualify and second each and every player needs to be at the level of peak performance ..we are going nowhere but levelling down just now SO COME ON sort it.

Totally agree and amongst all the other scary things last night was the lack of physicality. The way too many of us got eased off the ball was horrifying.

:agree:

We had a midfield 5 of Cadden Newell Henderson Kenneh and Mitchell, i could fart here in Blackpool and at least 2 of them would fall over, and Henderson would turn his back at the wind.

And as for that imposter up top Melkerson, my mates 10 week old labrador would bully that useless piece of crap.

£400k down the swanny, sell him in January and recoup £25.

At about 40mins Henderson gave up and started jumping about rather than tackle. He appeared to want to put off his opponent rather than physically tackle them

At about 40mins Henderson gave up and started jumping about rather than tackle. He appeared to want to put off his opponent rather than physically tackle them That is a very generous view. I think he started the game like that. Hardly moved and put in a few fake challenges. He has the odd moment but he has been, predictably, a terrible signing. He will be lucky to get a championship team imo as he doesn't have great ability and is one of teh laziest players I have watched in many a year. Campbell is far likelier to create or score a goal and offers 10 times more movement, effort and defensive ability.
