If rolling about on the ground for ages and wasting time with throw-ins is the way the game is going then there will be less folk attending games.

Happens in countless games every week where one team are playing backs to the wall. Obviously far sorer when they do you over 2-0 at the same time.

Could have added another hour on last night and we wouldn’t have scored.

Nah fair play to them. The came to our place and left with the three points. The problem is Hibs not Ross County.

Conversely, if a well funded Hibs can't lay a glove on a poor Ross County, there will be less folk attending games.

It's frustrating, but if we managed a game at Ibrox like that, I'd be delighted.

I'm not making excuses for the ineptitude of Hibs rather making the point that football is expensive to watch and the time wasting not exclusive to Ross County I would add is enough to put you off going to the games.

Teams like Ross County will always deploy these tactics when playing away against the bigger clubs.

The irritating thing is that our officials are so inept, that they don't penalise them for time wasting tactics. Ross County were wasting time from the first minute of the game last night and a grand total of 1 minute &.4 minutes were added at the end of each half. It took the referee 80 minutes to book one of their players for time wasting.

The accumulated time from delaying throw ins and goal kicks, going down umpteen times with fake head injuries and multiple substitutions, should have seen at least 10 mins added on, probably more.

You can't blame Ross County for using those tactics when there is a clear benefit to them in time wasting.

Everybody sees things differently but time wasting and the pathetic attempts of referees to officiate a game properly are putting me off.

They actually played 3 minutes in first half and Ross county scored in the second minute of injury time but the board held up and said 1 minute so ref just kept going till Ross county had the two corners.

60 minute games, clock stopped whenever ball is not in play. When?

We can hardly complain. Porteous has be doing that for season now.

I don't blame them. Scottish referees seem to positively encourage time wasting. I actually think the ref did a bit himself last night. The product in Scotland is appalling and that is as much to do with the constant fouling, time wasting and play acting as it has to do with the calibre of player. The referees could do so much more to make the game better but they are apparently oblivious to how football works. Rugby makes improvements every year to make the game quicker and more enjoyable to watch. It closes loopholes and punishes players who go out to injure others or try to stop the other teams progress illegally. Football can be such an enjoyable game to watch but it is fairly rare in Scotland that you see good games due to all teh cheating and incompetence of referees. I don't exclude some of our players either.

Correct - they went away from home to a club with much greater resources, with a game plan, were disciplined, organised, 'professional' and won comfortably.
When was the last time we did the same?
F*** sake its over a decade since we won at Celtic Park.

If Hibs were going to Glasgow to roll about on the ground all the time and waste lots of time taking throw-ins I would call it a day however most folk would appear to be happy with that and I guess I'm in the minority.

If it meant we got a result I couldn’t care less how we get it

Tbh the way footballs played these days is pretty boring. All possession based pedestrian *****.

I’d give up going if my team carried on like dross county and st Johnstone. It’s anti-football.
Bad enough watching Porto fall over at every opportunity never mind the whole team doing it.
