Back to basics and both wingers bring pace and directness, fullbacks can overlap with Kenneh sitting in and bodies in the box with two strikers. Both of whom work exceptionally hard so could drop off. Bit defensively onto their deepest midfielder.

No Boyle means a lack of pace and also no other right winger, you could play a 433 but I can’t see Youan/Tavares starting right and not a fan of Melkerson there. Want to keep two in the box so 352 but replacing Cabraja with Mitchell for more pace and danger in the final third. Henderson instead of Magennis as he’s more suited to that role where you can take a gamble and slip a pass.

Have a feeling Mitchell might play though.

Midfield needs to be solid and athletic hence Newell needs to make way for me.

Newell has been good this season and a better player than Cambell. However that doesn’t mean Campbell can’t help make the team more than the sum of our parts. Kenneh mopping up and legs and willing runners not afraid to get into the box in Campbell & Magennis, that might be the key to us being more clinical rather than dominating without always threatening.

Just think it’s bit daft to call for 4/5 changes but you can’t say who. It’s all about picking the best team to win this game. That’s what Lee Johnson needs to do.

As bad as Friday was, our best team on Tuesday will likely involve 9 of the same lot. I’d bring in Melkersen for Hendo and that’s probably it. Would like us to get back to 4-3-3 but that probably will need to wait til Boyles back
