We'll be on Twitter tomorrow night (Tuesday) talking all things Hibs with anyone who wants to join in, and this Friday we're likely to trial a sort of commentary/watchalong type thing on Twitter for the game, if you fancy tuning into something different to Sportsound!

If anyone's not sick of LB as it is, Colin and I were on Graham Spiers' podcast last night having a great and thoroughly enjoyable chat about Hibs (and a bit about why we're better than Hearts).

If anyone wants an alternative to Radio Scotland for tonight’s game, we’re trialling a sort of commentary/watchalong on Twitter Spaces tonight (you can listen while keeping up to date with the match thread on here!) where you can either listen or join in if you want!
Starts at 19:20 here:

I remember in school we were tasked with a commentary job, we had to record ourselves watching 15 minutes of a football match with the sound down and commentate on the match (there were various assignments, like produce a news bulletin, a 5 minute slot for an early evening TV show, stuff like that). I thought this will be easy, love watching football, how hard can it be!! Turns out, really quite hard, our tape was basically a lot of silence punctuated with us reacting to the play, screaming at the ref, moaning about the players, pretty much anything apart from commentating!! We thought we had failed the assignment but it turns out it was a lesson on how things you see and listen to on TV and Radio have a lot of work put into them to sound and look good. The teacher did say we should have chosen a match we had no skin in as we would be more objective about it. Anyway, the point of this is, good luck, you may need it :greengrin

It’s either going to be really good fun or a complete shambles, eh? I don’t think we’re going for out and out commentary on it, I wouldn’t presume to be able to just do that but we’re hoping we’ve got enough folk wanting to join in that there’s no really long silences.

I'm sure it will be great fun, I enjoy the stuff yous do on Spaces. I will be relying on Longbangers tonight as I am not going to the match cause of work commitments and I can't stand listening to Radio Scotlands dire coverage
