Picked up a ticket for this on Fanbase. A proper 6 pointer.

The Lowland League is so tight this year, really too close to call between EK, Strollers, Spartans, Tranent, Broomhill and Stirling Uni for that play off spot.

One of my mates is sponsoring the Strollers game on the 17th December so I'll be tagging along with him that day to take in the 'hospitality lounge' as well.

It was a really good game to watch.

Thought the 1st half was typical top of the table stuff, bit of a midfield battle, 100mph and fairly evenly matched albeit the Strollers created the 2 best chances. 2nd half was superb from the Strollers and they were well worth their win. Big Alieu up top is fun to watch, I've seen him 5 or 6 times this season and he seems to range from unplayable to looking like he has never seen a football before. Last night was definitely the former, he was brilliant. It was quite enjoyable seeing a couple of the mouthy EK fans leaving early with their tails between their legs as well.

More generally I'd encourage people to get along and support the local teams in the Lowland and EoS leagues, particularly if you are at a bit of a loose end during the World Cup. The beauty of football at that level is you very quickly get to know people involved at the club if you pop along a couple of times and you can really see the difference your gate money makes. A lot of these local teams do great work in the community as well and that's worth £8 of anyone's cash imo.

Thank you and spot on re gate money especially for us as or neighbours along the road seem to get all the credit

Tranent doing really well considered they were promoted from the EoS last season. Assuming that if Huns B win the league they can’t be promoted, the does second place get the play off spot? If so, Tranent only a point off it
