Certainly wound up a few Hibs fans after their second goal. Clearly had a few to drink in hospitality and was acting like he'd hoovered a few bags up his beak. Eventually got escorted out, but took far too long to do that. Was surprised nobody lamped him, as he was going tonto looking for a fight himself it seemed.

Getting banned for battering a twat like that isn't worth it IMO.

Also. Hibs sell tickets to away fans. Accept it we take their money - so if you can’t accept them celebrating then the problem is with Hibs, not the fan as we would probably do the same. Should be home fans only as there was a crowd of bams in tonight from Perth.
On a personal note, I came straight from work. Ok. Wearing a dark blue suit. It’s a Friday. To the wee torag who was giving me crap thinking I was a saints fan. I’ll chat with you next week….

Never got escorted out, he was back in his hospitality seat after FT. Major sponsor apparently.

He got escorted out his seat for sure by someone to take him back inside. Hibs shouldn't be allowing sponsors to behave like that, guy was an absolute bellend.

A separate incident, but there was brief flurry of posturing pre match outside entrance to west stand with a group of all black clad St Johnstone fans and some “old enough to know better” Hibs fans. A traffic cone was thrown into the fray which added to the comedy.
It won’t feature in any Danny Dyer hooligan clips any time soon.

Police free match last night. A real genius decided that.
Celebrating in the opposition end should just see you removed and given a banning order.

Double searched going into the east and the no police reason was cited. No surprise to see 4 cars with blues n twos head towards easter road area along duddingston road after the game.

We travelled home that way and there were a lot more than four - looked more serious than a football related fraca

I`m old fashioned regarding segregation so find it sad when reading how fans of any club get upset about someone supporting other team in what they see as " their " area . Fans who genuinely get upset because they see someone with a Killie / St J /Motherwell etc scarf in home area of ER even if they`re with a friend / relative who is a Hibs fan .
Hospitality has obviously created a problem which clubs or SFA ( cup semis and finals and Scotland matches ) don`t really want to address since income from hospitality is so important ie drunks who don`t support home team upsetting some regular home fans . I`ve never been to hospitality at ER or any other stadium but suppose it`s a mixture of fans going for special occasions and people invited by companies , in both cases will mean people turning up for hospitality who don`t support the home club including folk who are not football fans at all .

Noone got upset cause the boy was sitting there with a St Johnstone scarf on though, it was because he was wildly celebrating in peoples faces before challenging anyone in eyesight to a square go.
I've no problem with away fans sitting in home end if tickets are available, I've done it loads myself - there's generally a bit of sensible etiquette you have to follow though if you don't want to incite trouble.....

I wonder if he woke up feeling a bit sheepish yesterday with a wee bit of explaining to do to a boss or business associate and them in turn to hibs. That would be karma. I agree there is a certain common decency in your behaviour when either sitting in the rivals home end or being in hospitality.

Yet we think nothing of sitting in the opposition end when we can't get a ticket for our end 🤔.

As a season ticket holder who sits in the row of seats infront of the Hospitality seats in the west lower - I've probably had loads of "away" fans sitting behind me.
The majority of these fans conduct themselves (as per poster above) with common decency.
In Fridays situation- I did witness one member of that party (on more than one occasion) signal to the culprit that he was to cut it out.
To anyone from ER reading this thread I hope that folk coming to Hospitality at ER understand that they have to comply with some rules/expectations about behaviour.
On a separate incident at the last Hibs v Rangers game... I had the displeasure of a "away fan" singing sectarian bile behind me at the start of the game ... he was swiftly told to quit it.
I later caught the fat ugly twat trying to record me on his mobile phone.
He's lucky he left with his balls in tact as I was close to extracting them and making him wear them as earrings!

I sat behind the dozen or so St Johnstone fans on Friday night
Two guys one wearing a Saintees scarf and one with tats up to his neck who I recognised as being a random who had earlier approached me in Hospitality asking if l was “ alright” ?
The remainder were all female with one possibly quieter guy
They were from a well known Perth window firm
This was confirmed when the Primary Guest’s coupon appeared on the big screens much to the delight of the assembled company
The majority were well behaved apart from when a bottle of wine appeared from a handbag just prior to kick off and was duly passed around
It all kicked off when St Johnstone scored with Tattoo Boy obviously worse for wear over celebrating and challenging those around him for a ‘square go’ after the second goal
He even had the cheek to film all the Hibees trying to get to him to rip his head off
He was eventually escorted back into Hospitality for his post match drink where a shouting match ensued and the party eventually left
I felt that Security appeared to be slow to react and that stricter guidelines of expected reasonable behaviour should be made clear to visiting fans attending Hospitality as they are after all sitting in the Home End
Most of us have sat in the away end and it is not asking too much to keep your emotions intact for 90 minutes in a civilised manner

It’s almost like some people just post daft things because they never bothered reading the thread content or context:rolleyes:

Hibs and the window company ( Sidey I assume) should both be unhappy about events.
Most hospitality packages will be sold to Hibs fans, and that incident would make me think twice about shelling out to do so for future games. Also if I was in the market for windows either domestically or for a work contract I wouldn't touch that company with a bargepole.:cb

Same here, a story like this would make me avoid them from the off.

Done it many times myself and even as the emotion of the game grips you there is an amount of inner restraint that kicks in as you have to respect the home fans feelings and not get your head kicked in 😀. Was outed at the Gallowgate end very early on watching them play Liverpool a couple of seasons ago, was given a few friendly taps on the shoulder and told to be careful with my emotions, managed to contain myself quite well.

Perth has a rather large percentage of bawbags for a small hovel of a town so this doesnt surprise me.

Probably the same percentage as Edinburgh and other places.

With Sidey and Hibs recently going into partnership and to behave like that when representing the company at ER is a terrible look. Covering yourself in tattoos to make yourself easily identifiable isn't the brightest of moves if you're the type to go around offering a square go. Sounds like he's potentially committed a breach of the peace.

In my younger days, I was privileged to have quite a bit of spare cash, and I was obnoxious in quite a few 'away' hospitality sections, including Rangers, Hearts etc, so I feel I have to tolerate it now when I experience it from the other side.
It is tedious though.

How times have changed. I remember standing on the East watching Hibs beat Raith 2-0 in 1980 (Championship game). This blond haired Raith fan (I think he was with his elderly dad) had the bare faced cheek to shout "C'mon Raith". This Hibs guy came right up to him and said "Shat the **** ap". The guy punched him square in the face and knocked him down roughly 10 steps of terracing. No one blinked an eye. Ah, the ramblings of an older chap like me lol
