First time going through to Parkhead on Saturday.

Any recommendations for good areas to look for on-street parking? Or off-street too I guess.

Coming in on M8. Thanks!

I have used park on my drive website / just park website before and found some really good spaces near the stadium. Was safe and was someone’s drive - they had good reviews.

The space wasn’t far from Belvidere Terrace and got out pretty quick after onto M74 - M73 briefly and then M8.

Somewhere in the housing estate along London Rd, but need to be sharp
Remember to have some money, to have your car looked after. Yes it still happens, and the ones who watch it are usually over 60

Never used to mind when it was kids, but it’s now an organised extortion racket by grown men that the police appear to completely ignore. Some even wear high viz vests to attempt to look legit.

Can you park at the Chris Hoy Velodrome and just walk over??

If your route involves the M74 heading from the East, then I'd recommend leaving the motoway at Carmyle and take the train to Dalmarnock. The train takes 7 minutes and it's a 15 minute walk to the stadium.

That way you avoid both the dodgy guys extorting money for parking and being stuck in massive queues to get away after the game.

There's no Car Park at Carmyle station but usually plenty of 'on street' parking.

No, they have security on for match days. The car park there is used for home supporters buses.

If you don't mind a walk (25-30 mins), then Dennistoun between Duke St and Alexandra Parade has street parking and is pretty safe*. M8 J13.

If you don’t mind a walk park as far east as possible. I find getting away if your the other side a bit of a joke.

There is a netball Tournament on all day (World Cup qualifiers) and we have parked in there and I’m currently watching the opening game with my wife and two daughters before heading off for pre match refreshments at Parkhead. If you look like you’re heading to watch netball then might have a chance of parking but probably a long shot!

If anyones intersted, Ireland are 13 - 12 up against Isle of Man in a thrilling tie. (Roll on 3pm)
