What was wrong with Boyle last night, hope the World Cup isn't on his mind already, looked disinterested last night, his Aussie team mate Behich never let him get a kick, never went by his man once, even second half when we were on top, nothing, should have burst the net with his chance too, he was one of the worst players in a hibs jersey for me last night but seems to avoid any stick. Need better from the star man, hopefully just an off night.

An off night with his finishing. United were well organised and he rarely had the space that he likes to use his pace to full effect.

He had his off-days before he left too. Cracking player but not a world beater and he is human. On another night he tucks away a couple of chances and we’re raving about him.

The ball not going in for him was symbolic of the team performance last night

Just one of those nights. (Although you are right about avoiding stick especially compared to others.. often the case with star players)

Has anything in Boyles 7 years here suggested his mind would be somewhere else? Obviously just an off night.

He just didn’t play well, end of story.

Nothing to do with lack of interest or anything.

An off night for him, they happen. It’s just more noticeable when it’s Boyle because he’s normally that good.

Still think he’s still getting up to full fitness and sharpness after the amount of time he went without playing.
