He actually praises Ryan and the bit about him moving on is pretty obviously tongue in cheek.

This is actually him being considerably less of a **** than usual.

Going to be an interesting one if ryan has no intention of signing a new deal and staying for a few more years.

I would rather lose him on a free in the summer than I'm January for peanuts with the hope he can guide us to a successful league campaign.

Maybe Ron will want to cash in.

If Ryan keeps up his current form he'll be on the radar of a number of big clubs in the summer, if not January. Even if Hibs got him to sign a two year deal with a two or three million quid get out clause surely that wouldn't put off suitors, that's still bloody cheap for a young player with bags of first team experience and a full international cap.

I've got a good feeling about a contract being signed soon.

January could be peanuts plus add ons, end of season would be free.

Hope Porto is ok, I think he could be out for a few weeks for concussion we might not see him till after the world cup. If that's the case hopefully he can find sometime to make a considered decision one way or the other.

Has there been any news regarding his head collision anybody

Just him being tediously petty in his usual juvenile way, humouring the brainless in Gorgie.

Potter is best ignored. If we're going to have a thread for every time he spouts garbage, we'll need a whole new mb.

We don't need another thread for this.

He played on, he was not concussed. Players are not allowed to play on if they are concussed.

Levein has attempted a bit of humour but it hasn’t quite worked. Got the gist of what he was trying to say though.

I think he mostly got a bang on the gub/nose,but take your point
I would maybe think him and the other player would be checked by a doctor after the game.
If any concerns they would go for xrays etc, surely

Does anyone know.
Do Hibs have a contract with private hospital/surgery in Edinburgh ,or would injured players if needed to go to the Royal or Western for treatment.

If either player has not been checked properly on the pitch and is subsequently found to have been concussed there’ll be a few physios sweating over their jobs.Broken bones are the least of their worries nowadays.

How much you willing to bet on that?

Aye and his leadership skills etc could be key to a successful league campaign so would rather he left in the summer.
