Got an email in about the Middlesborough friendly on 26th November. According to my reading of it, it’s a 1pm ko so that you can come and watch Martin Boyle play for the Aussies on the big screens?
Is that everyone else’s take on the email? That would mean 5 hrs sitting at ER in the middle of winter lol. Better be free tea and coffee

I can't imagine that many people will turn up at 10.00am to watch the big screens!

That’s exactly what I thought which made me think I was reading the whole email incorrectly. Why mention saying they were having an early ko do you could watch Martin?

Relying on the Boyler effect - the stand will be full.
Guess they are just trying something different, also linking it in with the Women's derby the next day, getting folk into ER over what would otherwise be a dead weekend.
Pretty sure I'll be there, a chance to wear my hill-walking gear without getting tired.

They could have had both games on the same day, one after the other.
Constant football, 1PM till 4:45

I think the email says they hope supporters will watch the Aussie match in hospitality before taking in the Boro game? No mention of the big screens that I could see?

Read it again, £5 for ST holders, no mention of the big screens or hospitality. Maybe they expect us to watch it on our phones lol

I got the same email that you did and the wording is quite confusing if they aren't planning to put it on the big screens.
I'm not sure there will be much of a clamour to watch Australia v Tunisia at 10am outside in late November but it's not been communicated very well.

It’s difficult enough sitting in the stands for one game in late Nov, never mind two!
And I’m glad I’m not the only one to find the email wording confusing
