Who’s made the decision on this, is it for TV?

Home, we will never get an away friendly down south now. Too much trouble.

Bit of a shame that, I would love a trip to one of the Yorkshire clubs.

They seemed pretty confident that VAR was coming in the next week or two on Sportsound last Saturday

Middlesbrough away would have been ace. Once of the very few northern English grounds I have not been to.

Plus only an hour 20 for me.

Last time we played them was at Easter road too .Think we won one nil and was Southgate not in charge of them might be wrong though ?

Its about 2 miles from the city centre (which is an absolute hell hole) built on reclaimed land next to the docks, theres absolutely nothing there. Been twice and thats enough.

Be lucky if they bring 200 fans up. World cup is on.

Spent 1 night in Middlesbrough around 6 years ago as I was playing football just outside of Middlesbrough. Absolute grim place.

So are the players only getting a week off? Almost 5 weeks between pre and post World Cup games
