Was checking the next few fixtures and noticed Aberdeen away is on Friday 4th November.
Not the best fixture for a Friday night I'd have thought.
Most likely going to be a fairly small Hibs attendance at that one.

According to Hibs it was moved from the Saturday following advice from Police Scotland surrounding match logistics.

Too many police chasing wee kids with fireworks around Aberdeen that night 😂

I think there’s a large scale fireworks display each year in Aberdeen at or around Beach Boulevard - which is of course in the near vicinity of Pittodrie. That said, not sure why the match couldn’t have just been played a few hours earlier.

:aok: Seems like it won't be then. The showing of every infirm away game is a joke to be honest. No wonder there are so many of the glory hunter fans when they can watch loads of their games without entering a stadium and putting a penny into our game.

A situation that is easy to avoid. Give Aberdeen an away game whenever the 5th is a Saturday.

Aberdeen could technically offer this as a PPV

Have any non-Saturday at 3pm kick offs been made available for PPV yet?

The road closures and parking restrictions for this come in to place early on in the day, playing the match on the same day just wouldn’t be practical at all.

Not that I’m aware of. Am I right in thinking each club can have 5 this season?

It's not something I've heard about, I just read that 3pm Saturday games were banned from PPV from this season.

My hunch is that no games will be made available to view in the UK this season outside of the games selected by Sky.

It was on the announcement of the new TV deal, saying every club could have 5 PPV with immediate effect

That’s right. I think this one could be 👍

Sky allow English clubs to show every non Saturday game at 3pm on PPV. Seems odd only allowed us 5. Bet clubs up here didn't all want it.

Should say this is championship and down in England.

I'll be at The Birthday Massacre gig so will have to keep updated via the BBC app. Hope Porteous scores and does a diving celebration in front of Goodwin.

You'll be surprised I think.

If we are still on a good run of form the game will sell out the two covered sections at least.

I can’t see it as a TV game.Aberdeen are trying to gauge the viability of a Friday night football. Why put it on telly if you want to assess the turnout.
