Tragic events in Indonesia. 174 dead loads injured. Please be warned the images and videos are shocking. Police using tear gas is against FIFA rules so will probably end in a ban in some form.

Very sad situation.
Being reported that more than 4k extra tickets were sold, away fans were banned and the home team
Lost at home for the first time in 23 years.

Tear gas used.

With regards the overcrowding aspect,

This is a prime example of why Hibs, and the authorities, should be be doing a lot more to deal with the Old Firm repeatedly forcing tens, if not hundreds, of ticketless fans into the away at ER.

That death toll, which reportedly includes two police officers, is horrendous. Hundreds more injured too.

What are we talking about at ER? More than one person at a time forcing their way through the turnstiles?

Theres a documentary on youtube about Indonesian football and ultras groups,
Its wild over there, deaths arent that uncommon over there from riots etc in football

Seems the most likely means by which they get more in. Unless they're passing tickets back and getting the second person to claim to stewards they scanned and turnstile didn't work

Think the latter is more likely. Just print off two or three copies of your ticket and let your pals take their chances.

Queen dies , football stops in this country as a mark of respect. 170 odd football fans die in another country , nothing said or done .. Doesn’t sit right to be honest.
