this is probably not going to go down well, but IMO their 'delusions' about splitting the OF are a symptom of their mind set, that they are entitled to 3rd place at least - and this is partly what gets them into 3rd place more often than any of the other teams. we would do well to set out or stall similarly. we need a pompous big-team attitude at hibs, even if it makes us look like phannies at times.

Recent history suggests its unlikely the same team finishes 3rd two seasons in a row, so nae luck Jambos, no reason why we cannot finish 3rd this season tbh. I'd say between us and Sheepies.

in the last 20 years, they've finished in the top three 7 times, Aberdeen 6 times and us twice. That seems pretty proportionate with pomposity amongst support IMO (though Motherwell have also done so 5 times, without any particular delusions of grandeur)
