Wondering if anyone has been to any English grounds for match day hospitality. Looking for somewhere to go for a day out, preferably Northern clubs rather than Southern. Any suggestions welcome!

I was at Newcastle last weekend, was very good would recommend! Opened 3 hours before and closed about 2 hours after kick off.

My son and niece were at Sunderland, both said it was a good day out
Years ago I was at Man U, thankfully I wasn't paying but was told the cost. Vastly overrated

We to did Sunderland last season, would highly recommend but unfortunately it was a night match, think its far better for a day time fixture.

I took my laddie to Wigan v Shrewsbury Town for his 16th birthday. He somehow adopted Shrewsbury as his English team 🤷🏼*♂️. Caldwell was the manager at the time.
There were a few options - I took what was effectively the cheapest option - buffet style with mainly pizza and pasta (he was v fussy with food).
Wigan were super helpful in getting it organised and gave my laddie a gift despite knowing he was supporting Salop.
Ian Black was playing that day, much to my laddies disappointment. IB also overtook us on the way home in a Range Rover at what must have been over 100 miles an hour.
