Does anyone have electric heating in their home and can advise on the costs? I am looking at a flat but it has no mains gas so heating would be electric.
Don't want to end up potentially paying a fortune each month

3 bedrooms, detached 1800 building solid stone, no insulation in the walls. Currently using around £220 a month for underfloor heating, lighting, cooking etc.
Each room is separately controlled so you can heat where you need.

That's actually not too bad. It would just be me plus my daughter 1 night a week so potentially would be quite a bit lower.
Appreciate the response.

Occasional heating, I'd recommend a ceramic heater if you don't need to have a room heated all day.

Our house is solely electric, thought about gas when we moved in last year but couldn't be bothered, we live in a 3 bed and we are £160 per month obviously goes up in the winter, we are out pretty much all day and kids are at school though so again if you are in more it might be different
