Anyone got any podcasts or YouTube Channels they'd recommend?
Any topic except football as I've also created a thread for football podcasts in the main forum.

The restless natives podcast with Martin Compston and Gordon Smart is decent.
It prompted me to search out the film to stream last Saturday night.

As someone mentioned, Restless natives is not bad.
I also listen to ‘the drugs science podcast’ which does what it says on the tin. They were also the makers of the film ‘Magic Medicine’ and have interviewed the makers of the film ‘From Shock to Awe’.
I have found it hugely interesting and enlightening.

If you like Politics then
Oh God What Now (formerly Remainiacs) and The Rest is Politics with Alistair Campbell and Rory Stewart are both very good.
Also Top Flight Time Machine for childish but very funny nonsense

Athletico Mince is a personal favourite.
I’ve been really enjoying 11 Minutes to the Moon when I’m out running. An unbelievably good account of the moon landing and Apollo programme. Made by the BBC so there are no adverts.

Amazing story and brilliantly told. I think sometimes podcasts are far more powerful than visual mediums. I listened to the whole series driving down to the south of England and then the next night driving back up. In the car in teh dark made it even more enjoyable.

GossipMongers is hilarious, Joe Wilksonson and David Earl. First episode isn’t the best but if you stick with it you’re rewarded with some of the funniest stuff you’ll have ever heard.

I’ve listened to Restless Natives from the start, it’s funny and I think it’s gonna be an interesting journey to take with Gordon and Martin, so like many others I’d recommend that one.
Also a few others I like are
Infinite monkey cage - comedy science with Brian Cox and Robin Ince
You're dead to me - history pod from Greg Jenner (horrible histories)
Evil Genius with Russell Kane - comedy pod exploring famous people
What the f#$k is going on - Mark Steele comedy/current affairs
The coming storm - interesting look at qanon conspiracies great and eye opening listen
Full exposure with James O’Brien - famous people being interviewed

Definitely agree that audio can be more powerful than visual. The house that vanished on bbc podcasts is also worth a listen.
