According to wikipedia the 1990 Tennents' Sixes was held in Glasgow on 28 and 29 January.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1990_Tennent%27s_Sixes

The 1990 Tennents' Sixes (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tennents%27_Sixes) was the seventh staging of the indoor 6-a-side football tournament. For the fifth time it was held at the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scottish_Exhibition_and_Conference_Centre) (SECC) in Glasgow (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glasgow) on 28 and 29 January with a first prize of £16,000.

This competition was my first taste of experiencing Hibernian winning any type of silverware, and I still have all the Hibs games from this competition recorded on an old VHS tape, though unfortunately I no longer have a VHS video player to watch it with. But I can still remember the scores from this competition without consulting wikipedia.

Group stage

Hibernian 0 - 0 Rangers (4 - 2 pens)
Hibernian 5 - 1 Dundee United
Hibernian 2 - 0 St Mirren
Hibernian 2 - 0 Dundee

Semi Final

Hibernian 1 - 1 Hearts (2 - 1 pens)

Final

Hibernian 2 - 0 St Mirren

Was this not on YouTube?

I remember seeing it fairly recently and enjoying Andy Goram’s interview after winning the derby in the semi.

Imaging this now, indoors with all the varying fan groups with the drummers etc. chuck in a good drink and the place would be rocking.

Yes, SECC. Was there on the Saturday to see us beat Rangers on penalties and Kano destroyed the rest of the teams we played

I presume there`s no footage of 5 a side tournament which used to take place at Meadowbank in 70s and 80s ( ? ) and I think we won a few times ? Or 5 a side at Highland Show ( Hibs , Hearts , Rangers and another team not Celtic usually )

Still haven't got over the injustice of Celtic getting a free kick for not being able to get the ball of us. They scored after their free kick and knocked us out. Opening up old wounds this!

We were there at the 1986 one - we scored or won a game and the TV cameras homed in on us - Archie McPherson famously (to us anyhoo) saying how happy these guys who had travelled through from Edinburgh were when in fact we were all Weegie Hibbys 😂Might still be a YouTube snippet of this kicking about 😁
