Just a wee heads up as it could affect fans travelling to today's game but hopefully the road will be clear in the next couple of hours. Looks like the closure is between Lothianburn & Straiton.

From Traffic Scotland:-

"A720 is closed in both directions at Straiton, this is due to a road traffic accident. The road will be closed for some time. Use the available signed diversion"

I'm on the 10.44 bus from Peebles. Currently stuck just after Straiton. Glad I got an earlier bus!

I wonder if the Killie Team bus is at ER already, seems a bit early for that or it could get caught up in in all

We came back from a wedding near Biggar earlier, and the traffic coming off the bypass and heading to the Frogston road was hellish.

It will almost certainly be quicker to go through town.

Just heard its a pedestrian hit by a car, so if its a fatality it will be shut for a long time.

They’d be on the M8 if anything. Doubt they’ll use the bypass unless they have stayed in or near Edinburgh.

I meant just getting caught up in all the traffic chaos

Ended up coming via gamekeepers Road, other than. Junction St it was pretty easy going. It still took about 30 mins longer than usual. Hope its cleared by FT.

I went through the city centre and I’m stressed out my nut!

Should have as it would clearly have propelled us to another glorious defeat!
