Friend of mine had a few years ago, his recovery very much shorter than the figures your quoting, maybe more down to the individual.

Ah bad news this.

Good he’s on the mend but will miss at least two weeks maybe more depending on the surgery.

Far from ideal at this stage of the season with a new squad but let’s hope the team get extra motivation to help the gaffer along in his recovery.

Fingers crossed for a speedy recovery, and hopefully someone will be sorting him out with a firestick to view the game tomorrow while he recuperates . He's already had his gall bladder out, he doesn't need spleen issues as well.

One good thing about no games for a fortnight is that it's hopefully made it easier for him to rest up and recover.
