Welcome to the 3 new guys. Although I'm disappointed we never signed a central midfielder, I have a feeling McKirdy is going to be brilliant for the dressing room and a real character on the pitch aswel as being a good player. The Ukraine lad looks strong and powerful, so there's promise there. As for the Fish, heres hoping he has something about him and that he's been signed to play.

Why would they be tempted? They’re in no position to be thinking there’s been achievement here. Another young defender on loan from England (these loans never work out) and a deal that will probably be void because of late timing by mucking about with the deal yesterday.

And most importantly, totally ignoring the part of the side that needs most improving. Our midfield is a shambles and going through the season with what we’ve got is poor.

Whilst there might be an element of last night feeling like a win, much like a last minute equaliser can feel, we’re still horribly short of quality in midfield. That’s a huge concern.

Suppose we don't know the full facts yet.

Seems though that McKirdy was in Edinburgh early yesterday so the deal should have been concluded well before the deadline. What is not clear is there seemed to be a hitch which meant that it could not be concluded until after the deadline.

The FIFA decision will be interesting in that if they do not ratify the deal I bet journos will be all over this and will find out the timeline for the whole deal.

We can then see who is culpable.

As the witching hour approached, and witnessing the levels of rage, tears n snotters and outright abuse on here. I reckon it would have been a pretty good wind up if they had deliberately done so…but they didn’t, I’m perfectly aware of that.
