Won us a cup many others tried and failed to bring a cup home to Easter Road. And managed us through a right difficult time in our history.
Not many have had the football career he had.

Took him 5 years. A manager's lucky if they get 5 months these days.

The guy has done some job of creating this idea that he’s a cracking manager.
Didn’t do all that well at Alloa, done well at St Mirren in the second tier, failed at Sunderland, done alright at Hibs and now he’s failing miserably at DU.
Quite how he’s managed to convince some that he’s a very good manager I’ll never know.
His career will probably now level out at what is probably his level - drifting between SPL and Scottish Championship.

Nae - I would say a vagabond kind sir 😂
Don't want him back and wasn't overly keen on his style of football but he was a good guy and represented us well.
Hope he gets a break soon, just not 10 September (if he is still there).

Whilst you say that in humour, imho he is a much better fit for us than our current manager.

I have no problem with Jack Ross. He did well in the lockdown season and was an above average Hibs manager. The club was right to get rid of him when they did but I take no pleasure in seeing him struggle.

I'd rather Jack than Fleetwood Mac. 🤔

Potentially Jack had us in a position to win quite a few trophies and failed, looks like he's lost the dressing room at Dundee United, football can be a cruel game, I feel sorry for him it wasn't as though he left Hibs to go to pastures new.

Jack Ross tenure at hibs was timed perfectly with Boyle coming back from injury and papered a lot of cracks
If it wasn’t from Boyle I don’t think he would have been at us for as long as he was to be honest

Actually feel sorry for him. This Dundee United gig is ruining, what on paper is a decent CV. The issues run deep at Dundee United. Mellon and Courts all jumping ship after one season.
