If we're a good side we'd win every match, yeah, thats never happening.

We're sinking so desperately fast we're 8 above the play off and 2 behind 3rd. Going down like the titanic...

No team wins every match but a half decent team keen to get back into third spot would surely have come up with something better than last night's appalling performance.

Fair chance we'll be in the bottom 6 after tonight's fixtures and if Killie beat us on Saturday (which, based on our current form, seems likely) we'll be 5 points off the play-off spot at best.

I'm not 'anti-Johnson' or making up anything. The facts are we're on a dreadful run of 5 defeats in 6, including home defeats to St Johnstone and Ross County and conceding 10 goals in the games against Celtic and Aberdeen. We're going backwards fast.

Almost like a backward streaky spell?

Not in our last 6 games we never. We scraped a win at Saints because they had 10 men, Boyle was the difference between the two teams in Dingwall.
We had been playing a team sitting deep that was well organized and we were much the better team and deserved our win .This talk people's on about us playing a team that's had a man sent off has if it was our fault or a massive advantage is nonsense in all , sometimes a team a man less is more awkward to play against imo .ok not in the last 6 but I actually think its 5 btw so ok let's sack him and any managers after that if he goes 5 out of 6 without a win out the door with the B***er . 7 managers in 12 years is destroying this club but there's a few on here that seems to enjoy changing managers .

I'd take us playing 10 men every day of the week, i'd put up with them being more awkward.

We are finding playing against 11 quite awkward.

It’s not nonsense at all. The facts show our ability to get a result against 11 men is a massive issue.

One of which was against Celtic btw, were we lost 6 and on there day are capable doing that to anyone in the league which leaves 4 games that weren't at all acceptable though the Johnstone one we had a man sent off in too which didn't help. All bad results I can't deny that but talk of sacking our manager for 5 games that have been poor would be exceptionally harsh and nothing more than a panic decision imo

This isn’t just a run of form. His overall record is pretty horrendous with it being considerably worse than Heckingbottom and pretty much the same as Maloneys. He’s on the verge of becoming our worst manager since Butcher in terms of results.

So would I like to play against ten men every week but that can be a challenge too when they set in deep . Thought we played well against Aberdeen and there 11 men and were much the better team apart from when they got a flukey goal early in first half at Easter road also good at home to st mirren and away to Ross county. League cup campaign he was hardly in the door at the time though we still should have qualified. Is overall record might be horrendous to many but it's only awhile ago everyone was singing there praises on the manager , players and style of football, how in a short space of time things change . 3 managers compared to him Butcher , Maloney and Heckingbottom. Butcher anti football , some success at Inverness ,disaster at Hibs and got us regelated , done sod all since , Maloney never managed before coming to Hibs couldn't even talk a good game without saying UM or Super ,another Cathro , Heckingbottom really bad start at Hibs and dismissed , doing pretty well now . Anyhow I wouldn't even put Butcher and Maloney into the Same category as Lee Johnson to be fair , Neither would I put 2 names suggested for Hibs managers job in Martindale and Roy Keane in that bracket too.Neil Lennon also mentioned when some were glad to see him go too .Must be a full moon or something.

If we win on Saturday are we going forwards really fast?

^ Nope, but it would be a welcome to change.

Even you must be slightly concerned by now, no? :greengrin

Was seriously hacked off last night. Don’t agree with sacking the manager as recruitment is the main issue but can see why folk are frustrated.

What is just as frustrating is that if we’d won last night we would be 3rd tonight. Is there a chance after the break and we have nisbet and hopefully mcgeady and McKirdy back maybe even Magennis, we could get a crack at top 4? Trust me I agree the last few weeks in the main have been poor but the league is tight and that might be our only saving grace. It would be great to get a CB and CM in on loan who can impact the first 11 in 2nd half of the season

This a cracker. One of our players made a difference? no way, how ****ing else are we gonna win?

Our last win without Boyle was when? If he is out we have nobody good enough to come in.

It's a fair point. We were a one-man team before he left and we've been trying to convince ourselves we're not so utterly reliant on him since he came back. Unfortunately, apart from maybe Marshall (and he can only prevent goals not create them) he remains our only player whose inclusion is essential.

Re the point on Marshall, I wish we had an outfield player who could pass the ball like him and wanted to play with the urgency he shows. He was cracking at them at one point in the first half when we had a chance to break but nobody was interested.

This team is just a bunch of individuals chucked together. Apart from Boyle and Porto who seem to actually get on.

It’s like watching a team of trialists. Team spirit goes a long way, sadly we have none of that.

The body language on the pitch is very poor towards each other. Porto being the biggest culprit. Chucking his arms about at anything anyone else does wrong whilst making costly mistakes every second week and it’s going unchallenged by anyone.

Joe newell put a great ball into the box last night, nobody was there to attack it and he just turned around and walked away looking at the ground?

Yes, I suppose with that sort of accuracy I'm doing him a disservice by saying he's not a potential creator.

After the conclusion of this week's fixtures we're sitting 8th in the table in terms of points dropped against non-Old Firm teams which is more or less a reflection of where we are in the league right now.

3rd Hearts - 10
4th Livingston - 12
5th Aberdeen - 14
6th St Johnstone - 19
= St Mirren - 19
8th Hibs - 20
= Motherwell - 20
10th Dundee Utd - 24
= Ross County - 24
12th Kilmarnock - 27

He's been playing every week, how can we win without him :faf: last 2 results have been very poor, but it's certainly not all because Boyle was missing. We played rubbish.

This is ridiculous. When was our last win without David Marshall? Without the East Stand? Without green home kits.
