After last week, you're not going to see many Rangers red cards for remainder of season, if any.

The refs were put in their place last week it will be harder now to send their players off.

Mental that isn’t a foul but Rocky just TOUCHING Colak last week was a penalty.

Driving down from portsoy I heard Sportsound and they were all condemning the ref. Worst decision ever by all accounts. Last man goal scoring opportunity, red every day of the week.

Didn't think our ref today was that bad never really gave any controversial decisions, what I have noticed over the games is the amount of time wasting that teams get away with now , needs nclamped down on early so boring at times
Interesting comments from Malky Mackay on Sportsound regarding the Compliance Officer, said the CO admitted that they don’t watch the full game of all Premiership games before citing players and as good as said ‘trial by Sportscene’ is how they operate.

Timewasting seems to be getting worse and I`d like to see change in obstruction rule to stop players like Porteous diving when touched and defenders blatantly obstructing attackers to get goalkicks

The time wasting is beyond a joke now and it's on the refs to do something about it. It's so important for us to get the 1st goal as we don't have enough to break teams down that are protecting a lead. So far we've only led for about 6 minutes in total (the injury time v St Johnstone).

Yep, I heard that too.
It's clearly selective.
I thought his interview was very measured, esp after that ludicrous non red card that Rangers got earlier.

Why am I not surprised by the Huns’ Ref yesterday?
Scottish football is a joke
Our Ref was fine yesterday no complaints
As others have said we need to address blatant time wasting and obstruction but St Mirren should really have scored 3 or 4
We were absolute gash
We need new experienced recruits like yesterday
The clock is ticking

Yep, Rangers make such a fuss over a decision that goes against them (whilst ignoring thes ones in their favour) so that they get big decisions going for rgem in upcoming games because, as you say, the refs will bottle it. Robbie Neilsen tried a similar tactic by having a go at their ref last week for the number of fouls/bookings ratio for them compared to Celtic so it will be interesting to see if it has any effect on their match today. Mind you, his complaint might have been more about appeasing the fans.

Wow stunning decision. The lack of integrity in our game is simply staggering. 0-0 becomes a different game if Rangers go down to ten. Think Sands would have missed old firm Derby next week. 4th official and linesman would have had perfect view of that. Quite simply cowards.

So who refers the incidents to the CO. Sportsound or sportscene?

It feels like the compliance officer watches Sportscene to decide if they want to do any work that week.
Ridiculous when there are only six games to review, and even then most of the game will have nothing of interest to the compliance officer.

So possible that the incidents they cover or choose to ignore could potentially have an impact on who gets done or not. Seems like a good system :greengrin

So when do we hear if the compliance officer has more integrity than Scottish referees and Sands is offered a two match ban?
Which, of course, would be appealed and he would have two additional games added! Or maybe not.

Wait till we get VAR, the screens will go blank just before any bad incident, and they could not corroborate exactly what happened!!!
Just wait and see!!!!

More likely that VAR will say Hiwula should be booked for simulation.

You think he should be as that was a clear red card. Don't think he will though
